Electronic recording of stop causes

A food producer wanted to replace his manual stop cause recording with an electronic system. The solution by AN GROUP provided the company with both historical and real time data for production planning and optimization and caused a shift from ‘feelings’ about production problems to true knowledge about strengths and weaknesses in the production.

Production Server and Quality Control

A dairy producer chose to make a production server based on the Wonderware ArchestrA platform. AN GROUP prepared modules for this for communication with e.g. barcode readers, vision system for visual product control and printers for recording of errors and deviations. Continous data collection for, amongst other, traceability and improvements was included.

Traceability: Production Control

For the customers of an ingredients producer the AN GROUP project resulted in the option to trace a customer order so precisely that the customer could be informed already at order receipt of the exact time when the order would be produced. The solution also included control of recipes and unmanned trucks for the warehouse as well as general automation.

Traceability: New Production

A large European dairy producer wanted a new production facility prepared for future requirements for traceability. AN GROUP implemented a software system prepared to handle the large number of batches and prepared a history database for each production. AN GROUP was responsible for design specification, technical application knowhow and implementation.

Traceability: New Production

AN GROUP managed local sub-suppliers in Switzerland and in the recipient country regarding local tendering, contracting and work supervision on-site. Following this, AN GROUP supervised restablishment and electrical installation of common facilities as well as 2 spray dryers with related finished goods silos and pneumatic transportation. AN GROUP then adapted the Inbatch system for the silos, adjusted Intouch screens for the updated system architecture and modified the Intouch application from a German language only application to a multilingual application (3 optional languages). The project was completed with installation test, functional test and commissioning og spray dryers.
